FRAM® Wearguard® TRT Oil Filter – Silver (TPH)

Overview

• The NEW FRAM® Wearguard® TRT oil filter incorporates the quality of the FRAM Wearguard media with a controlled additization process which impedes (slows) the degradation of oil TBN caused by increased EGR on post 2002 diesel engines. The FRAM Wearguard TRT filters provide fleet managers the opportunity to maintain and/or increase oil change intervals on “acid challenged” post EPA 2002 diesel engines thus helping to reduce fleet maintenance costs.

Results

EPA 2002 and 2007, the precursors to the more stringent emission standards of EPA 2010, have set the stage for lower soot and NOx levels in the air thus increasing the stresses on diesel engine oil.
